Parker Drive is an artistic compilation spanning the years 2011 to 2021, featuring digitally altered photos, video clips, audio recordings, and written reflections. Parker Drive takes on two forms; A photo book and a video installation which is to stimulate the physcial archiving of our memories and the process recalling memories to our conscious minds. At its core, Parker Drive explores the interconnected themes of memory, narrative, and time, intricately shaping both its tangible and visual expressions. The project endeavors to navigate the terrain of personal recollections, aiming to rewrite stories and redefine identities through a journey into the past. It serves as an intimate tool for questioning and revisiting historical narratives, with a particular emphasis on probing the unreliability of childhood memories. These fragments play a pivotal role in influencing how we perceive ourselves and derive meaning from our lived experiences.
